Features of the Kea 5 STM
The workhorse of motorhomes in South Africa is the Avalon by WJ Motorhomes.
This version is operated by Kea Camper Hire as the Kea 5 STM. It is a
luxury 5 berth motorhome with all the features one could ask for in
a motorhome. It has a double bed at the rear, a double luton bed
(above the cab) and a single bed behind the cab. It has an air conditioner, 80 litre refrigerator, microwave oven,
shower, basin and toilet, hot water geyser, flush-mounted two burner
gas stove and more. The bucket seat configuration allows for
walk-through access to the cabin. Wide viewing windows at the back give
one a perfect view of the beautiful South African countryside.
The Kea 5 STM is based on the reliable, comfortable and silky smooth Mercedes Benz Sprinter 313 CDI or 308 CDI chassis. It has a turbocharged diesel engine as well as power steering and air conditioner and is easy and comfortable to drive.
